The Māori Health Plan documents the local health sector direction for improving Māori health outcomes and reducing inequalities for Māori across the Waitemata district.
The health plans have been developed collaboratively in partnership with both MOU partners and with our PHO partners. Where possible, Māori health gain activities have been aligned across Waitemata and Auckland DHBs. As a result, the two Māori health plans contain identical activities for the majority of priority areas and the local priorities aligned.
The Northern Region Health Plan (NRHP) replaced the District Strategic Plan and provides an overall framework for future planning and states the region's priorities for each year.
